Turn your food waste into something useful
Did you know that in Staffordshire, almost half (48%) of what goes in the average general rubbish bin isn’t actually rubbish at all? It’s food! From 30 March 2026 a new weekly food waste recycling service is coming to all households in East Staffordshire. This is part of a county-wide initiative involving all eight Staffordshire districts and boroughs to help us reduce waste, save money, and create renewable energy.
